This late 1960s/early 1970s U.S. Navy promotional film focuses on the Navy's two man and four man bobsled teams at the North American Festival at Lake Placid, New York. The bobsled team included six men in this era including Lt. Paul Lamey, Bob Huscher, Dennis Sprenkle, Bill Renton and Bill Coulson. The Navy's tradition in bobsleigh appears to have been short-lived as a Google search doesn't reveal any modern teams. A follow-up film to this one, "Blue on Ice" was released in 1974. ...
